Remembering the 'Portable' Computers of Yesteryear

Okay, so I was scrolling through YouTube (as one does when the kids are finally asleep) and this gem popped up. It's a commercial for the IBM 5100, which they proudly dubbed their 'portable computer' back in 1977. And let me tell you, the definition of portable has changed just a TAD since then. 😂

Seriously, watching this made me laugh – not in a mean way, but just at how far we've come. This thing looks like it weighs a small child, and the idea of lugging it around is pretty wild. But hey, for 1977, I bet it was revolutionary!
