Okay, so I was scrolling through YouTube (as one does) and stumbled upon this video, and my jaw kinda dropped. It's a super smart trick for hiding screw holes in wood projects, and it makes the finished piece look so seamless.
They basically use a special little tool to cut a tiny wood plug right from the project itself, so it perfectly matches the grain. Then they screw in whatever they need to, pop the plug back in, and sand it down. Poof! Screw gone, and the wood grain looks totally natural. It's way cooler than just using wood putty.
