When Monkeys Realize Life Isn't Fair

Hey everyone! I stumbled across this super interesting clip from a Frans de Waal TED Talk, and it totally blew my mind. It's about two capuchin monkeys participating in an experiment, and let's just say one of them is NOT happy with the compensation package. 😂

You see them doing a task, and then one gets a grape – which is like, prime monkey currency – and the other gets a measly cucumber. The reaction of the cucumber-receiving monkey is just priceless. It really makes you think about how even deep-seated our sense of fairness is, even across species!

Definitely worth a quick watch if you've got a couple of minutes. It's wild how much emotion and understanding you can see.
