Okay, so I stumbled upon this gem from The Dodo, and I just had to share it. You know how sometimes you see a video and it just warms your heart? This is one of those.

It’s about a woman who adopted an elderly goldfish – yes, a 10-year-old goldfish! – and basically gave him a whole new lease on life. He was apparently in pretty rough shape, but with her care, he really blossomed. It's truly amazing to see the difference a little love and attention can make, even for a fish.
