You guys, I stumbled across this and had to share. We all know octopuses are smart, right? Masters of camouflage and problem-solving and all that. But did you know they also have a sophisticated system for dealing with unwanted advances?

Turns out, when a male octopus gets a little too persistent, the females just… start throwing things at them! Like, literally, they'll gather up shells or silt and just chuck it in their direction. It's truly amazing (and a little bit hilarious) to watch. The ultimate "personal space, please" move.
