A Trip Back to the Original Dennis the Menace Play Area

Okay, so I stumbled across this video from 1957 of the Dennis the Menace Play Area in Monterey, California, and I had to share. This park is pretty iconic, and it's so cool to see it back in the day.

Seriously, watch these kids go! There's something so timeless about kids just running wild and climbing everything. And check out those slides – they look like they go on forever. Definitely a different vibe from today's playgrounds, that's for sure. It made me smile seeing all the joy in such a simple setting.

It's just a fun little slice of history, and it really makes you think about how we played then versus now. Enjoy!
