Robots Are Getting Really Good at Moving Things

You guys, I saw this video pop up and had to share it. Boston Dynamics, you know, the robot people, just put out a new one of their Atlas robot doing some serious work.

It’s not just walking and dancing anymore; now it’s actually moving big, heavy things around a construction site. The way it picks up that large beam and places it so precisely is just… wow. I keep thinking about how much stronger and more durable these things are than humans, and it's kind of mind-blowing to imagine what they’ll be doing in a few years.
