You guys. Seriously, you have to watch this. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to make your own shoes from scratch, like, completely from scratch without a single tool you can buy at Target, this is it. It’s so meditative and fascinating to see him gather all the materials.

It’s the “Primitive Technology” guy, and he’s out there making sandals. I just kept thinking about how much work goes into something we just grab off a shelf. The precision and patience he has are just incredible. Makes you look at your flip-flops a little differently, right?
