Watching a Giant Mirror Come to Life (Seriously Cool)

Hey everyone! So, I stumbled across this video today and had to share it. It’s all about casting this massive mirror – like, a $20 million mirror – for what’s going to be the largest telescope ever. Just thinking about the science involved in something like this is mind-boggling.

You get to see the whole process, from the molten glass swirling around to it cooling down. It’s definitely not your average craft project, that’s for sure! It totally makes you appreciate the engineering and precision that goes into something so important for space exploration.
