When a Baby Elephant Just Wants a Playmate

Okay, so I stumbled across this video, and it just made my day. It's about a baby elephant who spots a little dog, and you can just tell he's thinking, "Oh, a friend! A new playmate for me!"

It's so sweet watching him try to figure out how to interact with the dog. Elephants are obviously huge, even as babies, and the dog is, well, very dog-sized. There are some really gentle attempts at connection that are just precious.

You really see the curious and playful nature of these amazing animals. It's a quick watch, but definitely worth it for the smiles it’ll bring.
